| Who plays guitar here? If so, what kind do you prefer to play? I play electric! Or am still learning. But I can play songs okay. Like Monster ~ by Skillet. | |

| I play Guitar slightly. Good enough to play a few songs just bye looking at sheets, but not that well.
I was practicing so long the other night that the fingers I was strumming with ripped open. Ugh.
JLU: I play the piano too! Thus my other name at a few sites.

| My cuz plays base, and she doesn't use a pick. Her fingers are so raw. | |

| Picks don't work for bass though. The strings are too thick and it makes a higher sound, for bass you want as deep as you can go typically. On electric guitar my fingers we're really raw from holding down the small strings. They like cut into your fingers. :/ | |

| My fingers don't mind holding down the strings...
But I guess it's because I'm used to it. I play the violin, and you have to do the same thing with those.
YAY! I just ordered myself (with my new debit card and my money) a Guitar Book and a pack of Thumb picks! The book will teach me chords, songs, strumming and picking, and so on. The pics slide onto my thumb , rather then me having to hold that other kind.
